The Mosquito is an electronic device that emits a modulated tone at 17.5KHz to 18.5KHz, a sound at the top end of the audio range for teenagers and young adults (13 - 25 years of age). The sound is sufficiently annoying that after 5 -10 minutes, teens and young adults leave the area of exposure.
