RMS Omega named to Baltimore SmartCEO Future 50 List

11-14-2005: Columbia, MD. - Baltimore-based SmartCEO, a regional “growing company” publication, names RMS Omega Technologies to it’s Future 50 List. RMS Omega to provide Zebra Extended Life Printheads

10-26-2005: Columbia, MD. - Earlier this year Zebra announced that it would be coming out with extended-life printheads. The first of these is now available for the S600, Z4Mplus, 105SL, 110XiIIIPlus, 110PAX4, and 110PAX3 (203-dpi) printers. This printhead will provide up to three times the life of the original printhead on average, but will still be priced the same as the original and will carry a six-month no-fault warranty. As part of the Zebra Authorized Service Provider (ZASP) program, RMS Omega is committed to using using genuine Zebra parts and printheads on all Zebra products.

RMS Omega to offer Wire and Cable Marking Ribbons

10-12-2005: Columbia, MD. - RMS Omega has been selected by Iimak as one of the authorized resellers of the New Wire and Cable Marking Ribbons. These new, highly durable ribbons are utilized when printing synthetic labels that identify and trace wires in an electrical system. Typically, these applications do not require a bar code, but rather a series of numbers. IIMAK is one of the world's largest manufacturers of thermal transfer ribbons. IIMAK invents the formulations, develops the manufacturing processes, manufactures inks, coats film and converts master rolls into finished ribbons in our facility in Amherst, New York.

RMS Omega accepted as Citizen Systems America Partner

08-29-2005: Columbia, MD. - RMS Omega is now a certified partner of Citizen Systems America. Citizen has two Meditech approved printers, the CLP-521 & CLP7020E. RMS Omega and General Data present the New StainerShield

04-21-05: Columbia, MD. - RMS Omega and General Data presented an in-house show introducing the new StainerShield C02 Laser Imager for tissue cassettes and slides. The StainerShield Laser Imaging System uses a low power CO2 laser to provide a means for permanent and indelible marking of specially coated tissue cassettes and slides. During the mini-show, the Pre-stainer labels for slides and the Patient Identification Wristbands were presented.
