Wavelink Communicator Software
Push-to-Talk Software
Wavelink Communicator is a 100% client-side push-to-talk solution aimed at enhancing on-the-floor communication for any organization. With Communicator, organizations can extend push-to-talk walkie-talkie functionality to their existing ruggedized and voice enabled Windows Mobile® and Windows CE® mobile devices. Communicator also supports Windows 2000/XP/Vista. This feature allows back office workers to communicate with front office workers, regardless of the Windows platform running on their workstations.
Wavelink Communicator features one-to-one (unicast) push-to-talk broadcasting. With unicast broadcasting, users can have private push-to-talk conversations between two voice-enabled devices running a Windows® platform. Wavelink Communicator also adds the ability to designate a global talk key that triggers the talk function, or beep on talk when a unicast call is established. Paging is available via a page key that initiates the paging process.
