Avalanche Mobility Center (MC) provides comprehensive management of each element of a wireless system, provisioning and maintaining all major brands of handheld mobile computers, wireless infrastructure devices and peripheral items such as printers and barcode scanners.
Avalanche MC™ increases your network's flexibility by managing hardware from multiple vendors. When rolling out the network or adding new access points, switches, handheld devices and peripherals, Avalanche MC™ automatically discovers the hardware and applies the initial configurations and profiles. Its unified console lets you mange network and security settings, software updates and other applications for both the network and connected mobile devices and makes it easy to add new local and wireless sites.

Avalanche SecurePlus
Wavelink Avalanche SecurePlus (formerly Avalanche CE Secure) is a plug-in to Wavelink Avalanche that provides advanced user authentication and security on Windows CE® mobile devices. With Avalanche SecurePlus, administrators can restrict access to the device, its applications and data. SecurePlus also encrypts and/or deletes critical data on mobile devices when they are lost or stolen.
When you start-up your device with Avalanche SecurePlus, protection of your data begins immediately through an Active Directory authenticated login. When used in combination with the Wavelink Avalanche Certificate Manager™, Avalanche SecurePlus is able to control authentication to the network itself, by allowing each user to authenticate via 802.1X using unique individual certificates. With the ability to protect sensitive data and folders on the device, Avalanche SecurePlus detects when the device is in a vulnerable state through a series of network assurance tests. Should any test fail, the mobile device will automatically progress through predefined lock-down procedures, such as folder and file encryption and deletion after predefined configurable time periods.

With the Avalanche Remote Control plug-in, administrators can remotely diagnose over WLAN or WAN to remedy both applications and device settings, or simply provide assisted guidance for a user. This reduces mobile device down-time and increases end-user productivity.
Avalanche Remote Control provides administrators with the capability to command both stylus and keyboard actions while receiving real-time views of the target device display.
